Position Description:
The Operations Analyst will meet with assigned business groups to analyze all management and operational practices. The Operations Analyst will gather process data by using activity-based models for the purpose of auditing and analyzing existing operational processes. Once data has been collected, the Operations Analyst will use data driven models to determine process cost and measure performance. Statistical workflow models will be used to look for process deficiencies and to make recommendations for process improvement based on activities, cost, process delays, and root cause solutions. Operations Analyst will determine realistic process improvement targets and recommend new business practices. New process implementations will be evaluated and compared to industry standards for best practice analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Analyze dental clinic workflow models such as patient check in, appointment scheduling, medical records management, patient flow and physician workload.
2. Gather process data using activity based workflow models. Identify costs based on operating activities, process delays, workflow analysis, and process performance.
3. Conduct detailed patient flow assessment including patient flow diagrams, statistical analysis, process fail-point identification, root cause analysis and process performance measurement.
4. Utilize statistical metrics driven models to support recommendations for improved operational effectiveness.
5. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Logistical Analysis. Ability to create an effective and efficient logistics system to meet time, quality, and value requirements for products and services.
6. Facilitate multi-disciplinary process improvements to help decrease patient wait time, and improve process efficiency across clinical operations.
7. Provide consulting services related to a patient satisfaction scorecard and improved patient satisfaction results.
8. Consult with various levels of management to ensure adjustments are made according to business changes and to facilitate cost/process efficiency implementations.
Required Skills:
· Strong Statistical Modeling and Data Analysis skills
· Ability to develop Workflow Diagrams and Process Models
· Knowledge of Process Improvement Methodologies (Six Sigma Certification or similar is helpful)
· Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Logistical Analysis
Required Education:
· BS Degree in Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline
· Masters Degree in Business Management or associated field (preferred but not required)
