All Western Dental doctors become part of the Western Dental Team.
Regardless of experience - whether from dental school, specialty graduate schools, private practice, other dental groups, or the United States military - all of Western Dental's associates are mentored and monitored to insure that their care provision for each patient is according to the high professional standards of Western Dental.

With experience and a demonstrated excellence in diagnosis, treatment skills and staff management, an associate can advance to a Managing Dentist position and take full responsibility for the complete dental team in a Western Dental Center.
As management skills increase, Managing Dentists can advance to larger dental centers and assume greater responsibilities, along with greater personal and financial rewards.
Western Dental has 127 general dentistry centers, each of which is dental-managed by a managing dentist responsible for that center. Western Dental also has 83 orthodontic centers throughout California and Arizona, each supported by a thoroughly trained and licensed orthodontic team of orthodontic assistants, RDAs, and front office personnel.
Each center has a State Board-licensed orthodontist in charge.
Western Dental also hires pediatric dentists, periodontists, oral surgeons and endodontists.
Licensing
Western Dental employs all State Board Certified general dentists and specialists.
The Western Regional Board Examination is now accepted by the California Board of Dental Examiners.
Western Dental also accepts for employment all State Board Licensed Credentialed Dentists from other states.
