Western Dental Dentists And Staff Volunteer at R.A.M. LA Health Fair
Orange, CA (May 7, 2010) – Western Dental Services, Inc., California’s neighborhood dentist with offices throughout Los Angeles and all of California, volunteered an entire team of dentists and staff to provide free dental care to large numbers of people who could no longer afford the care they needed.
At the Remote Area Medical Foundation health fair held at the LA Sports Arena from April 27 through May 3, 2010—where many healthcare professionals gathered to provide services to the needy—a team of 10 Western Dental professionals, including eight experienced dentists, provided hundreds of essential dental services to many of the city’s underprivileged residents. With this care, individuals could once again resume daily functions, including eating, working, going to school, caring for family, and living pain free.
Western Dental volunteers Kumzoo Wohn, DDS, Mona Gad, DDS, James Francis, DDS, Ken Ye Chong, DDS, Homa Daryai, DDS, Noor Khedraki, DDS, Soumava Sen, DDS, Naeil Elhussiny, DDS, and staff members Rosie Quintara and Veronica Hernandez donated their time and energy in providing check ups, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals to many of the people who needed care.
Many individuals remarked how appreciative they were of Western Dental’s participation, and all the care that was given.
Headquartered in Orange, California, Western Dental and its affiliates operate or manage more than 250 dental centers throughout California, Arizona and Nevada—providing a wide range of family, specialty, and cosmetic dentistry, including orthodontics—in the communities served.
Western Dental is proud to have been a participant in this year’s health fare, as in past years, and looks forward to being of service to all residents of the Los Angeles community.
